Great shakes and sundae's. Slightly pricey for ice cream but that's their specialty. Since there's not a Culver's nearby, A&W is the place to find fried cheese curds! They're fried darker than Culver's, with a thicker crust but, with fry sauce, they're still a treat.
Pretty clean, friendly staff and affordable menu. Not too crowded.
(update) after an hour of waiting my food came out, both burgers were incorrect, and cold, and they were missing part of the order. As compensation they most graciously upgraded a small fry to a large one (sense the sarcasm). I would do less than 1 star if that was an option.
Just an Average place to get a burger. They got our order wrong by placing the bacon on my burger but forgetting to put any bacon on my wife's bacon burger. The staff was very nice and helpful. Of course we will stop at this and other A&W again, where else can you get a Frosty Mug of Root Beer?
Well I'm still sitting here after 30 minutes waiting for food. No one has approached me to let me know why my food is slow, no drink (which I ordered) cup given to me. Only brought out a polar swirl that is mostly melted now. This is not my first bad experience here.
A&W is a family favorite! The food is higher quality than other fast food restaurants and is worth a slightly higher price. This particular location is extremely clean and friendly. Root beer floats simply taste better here. High five to the staff too! They are obviously well trained and do an excellent job.
